Trash Bin?
What problem are you facing?
Deleting of batches often after a failed run. It's nerve racking not to delete a batch as some are very much needed batchs. We track data quality month on month, so accidentially deleting a needed month could happen.
What impact does this problem have on you/your business?
Huge impact on the effectiveness of reports etc. If we delete something needed it's A) going to take a while to re-build the workflow / function and then run. Or B) it is not possible to get back. So something like a monthly dashboard that tracks progress will now just be missing a month.
Do you have any existing workarounds? If so, please describe those.
Only possible fix would be to roll back Aperture?
Do you have any suggestions to solve the problem? Feel free to add images if this helps.
A recycle bin - chaning the times for how long it holds onto things for. I.e. 1 week, so if you do click delete by mistake or change your mind. You have a week to re-instate it.

I like this idea and can definitely identify with the "nerve racking" feeling of permanently deleting a batch.
However we should also consider scenarios where data retention policies mean data needs to be permanently deleted at a specific point in time and not retained for possible . So we probably want the equivalent of Shift + Delete in Windows if you don't want to use the recycle bin for your batch
