Finding database / table attributes

Hi,

Is there a way of creating an output of all the fields and attributes of a table / database.

I thought there was an option when you add a dataset so that you can see all fields, field types, field lengths etc but all I can find is an option to have column headings only.

Or is there a function that will provide these details?

Hello

You might be thinking of the Annotate columns screen (under Options) which shows each column and its datatype.

However it will probably be more useful to Profile the dataset, which will show column headers, datatypes, min and max values as well as uniqueness, completeness, most common formats etc.
