Guidance

When you've successfully completed a challenge. Make sure you post your solution so others can see. Also take a minute to have a look at the sample solution posted each week as well as the different approaches other members of the Community have taken in each challenge.

When posting your solution, make sure to post it in the Solutions area of community (and not against the original challenge as this will effectively be a spoiler for any newcomers aiming to test their Aperture Data Studio skills).

Format

Try to make your solution post as clear as possible. Screenshots are a really great way for helping others quickly understand your solution, feel free to include a couple of screenshots if you like. Alternatively if you want to do a quick video walk-through of your solution, please feel free to post your video on here too (YouTube video links work well, you can also upload the video file itself).

Most importantly though, we want to make everyone's solutions accessible for others to load into their Aperture Data Studio environments, so please include the .dmx file with your solution.

How to create a .dmx file

Once you've created your workflow/function to solve a given challenge, to export that (and generate a .dmx file) you need to simply navigate to 'all spaces' and then select the 'Export' option alongside the Space containing your solution:

If your space contains lots of other stuff, you can simply select just the objects that relate to your solution:

And then download the .dmx file (which you can rename if you like) and then upload it to your solution post.

See below for an example:
