Sequence count

Hi,

I can't find a sequence count in Aperture - is there one planned in Version 2.x?

    I am not sure exactly what you are looking for @Nigel Light but could it be the Current Row function ?

    Sounds like it - I was after a similar function to sequence generator in Pandora

    @Nigel Light I think that Current Row will do what you need. You will of course need to create a column and then simply assign that function in there.

    that number is only valid for that transformation step, the number is not dynamic in subsequent steps, so if you apply a filter or split the data downstream the sequenc number is invalidated and will need to be reestablished after the split. as an example

    note that in the unfiltered records in the lower panel, the stream from the branch, the RowID is sequential

    in the upper panel the RowID skips some sequences because I have applied a filter
