Rulesets and Rule Name

Hi, I want to explore using Rulesets, but the naming of rules is stumping me. I want my rule name to be the mapped column I am using, followed by a short description. Column=V_ID and description=not null. The rule name created though is "V_ID-Input - not null" - it is pulling in the input column from the ruleset definition page. Ideally I want it to say "V_ID- not null". Also, Is there a way to autogenerate the name based on the column it is applied to, same way that existing rules are created?

    Hi James,

    Are you getting that when creating the rules in the ruleset? I'm not seeing this. Can I know which version are you on?

    Apologies, I've misunderstood earlier.

    It is working as intended, the ruleset rule is being applied in your step. And as you know, ruleset rules can be applied to the same data in all spaces that it has been shared to.

    In this case, I think its best to name your ruleset columns as closely as possible to match the column names in your data, so that its reflected when the rule name when the rules are created.
