Adding gzip Compression Method
What problem are you facing?
gzip(.gz) compression method option not available when adding of compressed datasets and in the export step for compress or compress and encrypt.
What impact does this problem have on you/your business?
Most internal and clients files are compressed using .gz. This is has been the case for while now and not having this option makes it difficult to access these files and deliver to clients as requested.
Do you have any existing workarounds? If so, please describe those.
No, there is no workaround for this in Aperture.
Do you have any suggestions to solve the problem? Feel free to add images if this helps.
Add the gzip(.gz) compression method to both adding datasets and the export step.
