Dropzone

Hi there,

How do add columns on a dropzone file? The columns have been added in the source file but it's not reflecting on the dropzone file in aperture. How do I fix this? I have tried adding a new external system but it doesn't work.

Many thanks,

Mariana

    Hello

For an External system dropzone like AWS S3, SFTP or STS any "The new file must have at least column names in common with the existing Dataset. Missing columns in the new file will be loaded as null values in the Dataset. Additional columns will be ignored" https://docs.experianaperture.io/data-quality/aperture-data-studio-v2/get-started/configure-dataset-dropzone

It is not the External system, you will need to create a new Dataset in UI with all of the columns that might be included in the file. These columns can be set to optional if they are not always included (and not used by any Workflow steps).

    Hey Josh,

That is very useful thanks a lot.

I actually selected a recent batch that had the extra columns and it worked!

Just wanted to put here in case it helps someone with the same problem 😊
