Importing data into Salesforce child objects
I have a user case to use out of the box functionality that come with Salesforce and is available in the Progress Driver to relate data in parent and child objects on import.
In a Salesforce object you can designate a field as an external ID. When you load a child object such as Contact where the parent is Account and you would like to relate records to it on import you can map a field as an account id urn in the contact data you are loading (not the Salesforce ID) to the external id field in the parent account object so when you load the data it will automatically create the relationship. Is this possible to do in ADS. I can't see where this would be done in the workflow export task? Does anyone know of a work around as it saves a lot of time and API calls not having to download the parent account data and add it using a lookup or join to the dataset or snapshot you need to import into Salesforce.
