Ability to select specific last number of batches in charts

What problem are you facing?

For charts, if I only want to list the last N batches, I have to create a whole new process to create a new dataset.

What impact does this problem have on you/your business?

Extra maintenance and resources

Do you have any existing workarounds? If so, please describe those.

Use workflow to filter the main dataset by X last batches. Use that smaller dataset in the chart.

Do you have any suggestions to solve the problem? Feel free to add images if this helps.

Charts options there would be a "Get Last X batches" from the data source if a multi-batch source was detected

I can see value in this for Views also.
