How do I share a Dashboard with a Data Consumer?

Good Afternoon

I am scratching my head trying to figure out how to share a dashboard or a simple view with a Data Consumer user role. I have yet to find any definitive document or video on this site that tells me what rights should the Data Consumer role have just to be able to see a dashboard or to see a view. I have been unsuccessful in giving my data consumers access to the dataset/view or dashboards that I have created.

Does a documentation or video exist that walk me through on what rights should Data Consumer role have to be able to see the dataset or a View? I have given my Data Consumer Role the following rights in the system but I am still unable to have my data consumer be able to see anything in aperture studio:

Create and Edit Spaces, View Datasets, Download CSV and copy grid data, download excel grid data, view workflows

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Amit

    Consumer users do not need any permissions. (You can optionally give them the ability to download grid data as CSV and/or Excel also the ability to update issues tracked in issue lists).

    Create a Space and add the Consumer Users to the Space (or the Group containing these users). In the Space create a Dashboard and add any Views, Charts, Datasets and Widgets to the Dashboard.

    In the top right corner you can do two things:

    1. preview how a Dashboard will appear for read-only users by enabling the Preview published widgets toggle. If there are Views and Charts that have not been Published then you will need to do that to show the latest versions
    2. click the user menu and select 'Act as a consumer' to hide the navigation bars and show the Dashboards in the UI as they will see them

    Good Morning
    Thank you for this information but it is not what I see in my system. The views cannot be shown to Data Consumers. There is no way around it for views.

    I am creating workflows bec only workflows are allowed to be seen by the Data Consumers.
