Load Excel and select/deselect worksheets?
Hi,
Is it possible when loading an Excel file, to select only specific worksheets to load? I tried and could not see any options, but wondering if I missed something. Using version 2.12.13.108.
Thanks

When you create a Dataset using an Excel file, each worksheet will be created as a different table (you can delete tables/datasets that are not required or alternatively remove the sheets from the file before it is loaded). The next time you load the file to update the Dataset it can contain more/fewer sheets and you can configure which tables you would like to update.

Thanks, seems that the answer is that there is no easy way - have to import all data on first upload. Would be nice if the "Select/Ignore" option was available at the initial first load.

Hi Josh,
Just wondering if there is any optimization in the pipeline for loading Excel Worksheets? Only select which sheets to load and from which row onwards? Quite often there maybe extra 'about' info in the first rows of a spreadsheet.

Is it a specific application that is generating the Excel file? Is there an option to generate as CSV instead?

Hi, it's the ConsumerView_MasterDataDictionary I'm trying to load into Aperture. It needs to be in a workbook format to start with. Every sheet has column headers further down the line (row 6) any suggestions how I can load it into Aperture without editing the original file?

I dont have any good suggestions, unsure how common this issue would be for others using this filetype, but maybe others can comment
