We’re so excited to hear your ideas to make Aperture Data Studio even better.
📌 Before you get started
Search for the idea to see if it exists already – we review ideas regularly based on votes, so upvoting an existing idea and commenting with your use case is a great way to get visibility on your idea.
When you’re ready to post a new idea, or add a comment to an existing idea there are a few ways you can help our product team:
- Tell us about the problem you are trying to solve rather than focusing on a perceived solution – this helps our product team better understand your use case
- Include as much detail as possible – the more information about the problem you’re trying to solve the better – screenshots and videos are super helpful!
- Tell us about the impact this problem is having on you and your organisation - this helps us when it comes to prioritising what needs to be fixed first.
- Of course if you have some solutions in mind, feel free to include those, but bear in mind that the actual solution (should our product team agree to build it!) may be different.

- Gathering interest: Your idea has recently been raised or we don't have enough votes yet to understand the demand.
- Problem unclear: We'd like to understand the use case / problem a little more. Tell us in the comments.
- Planning: Great news! Your idea has been added to our backlog. Timescales will depend on the size of the request and other priorities, but we'll share updates as things progress.
- In development: Even better news! Your idea is cooking and is in active development. Expected release date will be in the comments.
- Now available: Amazing news! Your idea has made it into the product. Version number and release notes will be in the comments.
- Declined: While we appreciate every idea, not everything can be developed. This could be because of a variety of reasons but we will always explain why in the comments.
