Suggestion: Auto-Save rules in a validation step

Hi,

I have come across something rather infuriating this afternoon whilst creating a number of validation rules within the same rule group. Having spent the best part of 2 hours creating around 20 rules I briefly lost connection, after reconnecting I had to navigate back to the validate step.

… all my rules were gone….

Can I put forward a suggestion much like workflow function steps are auto-saved could this feature be extended to the rule writing part of the validate step.

    Hello, Workflows do auto save, but you would need to periodically save/apply the step configuration once you reach a point that you are happy.

    If you are creating 10s of rules have you thought about configuring them in a Ruleset? Rulesets do auto save as any changes are made and can be published and versioned separate to the Workflow, which is useful if it is being used in production.

    Hi Josh,

    Its the validate step within a workflow rather than the workflow itself that doesn't seem to auto-save. I find creating a 'ruleset' limiting as you are not able to see the results on the fly and as such find it easier to add my validate rules within the validate step and then convert to ruleset once I know they are acting as expected.

    Not sure how possible this would be to implement but perhaps something to consider?
