Hi there,

I found on the documentation that is possible to have a repository back up setup on the windows installation but we are using a linux deployment, is it possible to do this if we are not using windows? TIA

    Hello

I cannot see anything in that documentation that makes is specific to Windows. If you update the repositories.json file (and restart the Aperture server) then it will change the behaviour of the repository database that is backed up.

We will look to update the documentation to make this clearer that much of the Windows info is relevant to both

    Thanks for clarifying that Josh.

Hey Josh, I can't find this repositories.json file. Can you please let me know which root is this installation root directory?

The default location would be /ApertureDataStudio/Repositories.json. It will be the same location as your Server.properties file

In Windows it is found here (if helpful): C:\Program Files\Experian\Aperture Data Studio <version>

We are using linux, I've looked everywhere for this Repositories.json, is that anyone that could jump in a call with me to help? I can find repository.db but not the json file to automate the backups.
