Allow worksheet naming at the Export step

What problem are you facing?

When exporting data to Excel, I like to have each worksheet named according to the function or type of data being presented. To do this, the prior step must be named and that gets passed to the export step. However, if the workflow is changed and new steps are added prior to the export, the named inputs are lost and go back to the default step name.

What impact does this problem have on you/your business?

Having to remember to rename prior steps to the export can be frustrating, and can also take away from describing what the step is actually doing.

Do you have any existing workarounds? If so, please describe those.

Try to remember to add a 'Transform' step prior that only is for renaming and passing on the name to be used for the Excel worksheet.

Do you have any suggestions to solve the problem? Feel free to add images if this helps.

The ability to input the worksheet name directly in the export step - see below

Hi James, you got it that the (custom) name of the previous workflow is used to name the Excel sheet. If you amend the workflow then adding/updating step names is required. You can have a step description as well as a name if this helps
